Oak Library 3 Drawer 1915 Antique File Cabinet

This superior quality solid quarter sawn oak three drawer file cabinet is signed on a brass plate, "Library Bureau Sole Makers."

This exceptional furniture was made for the Andrew Carnegie Foundation to give to local libraries across the country about 1915.

The deep finish is in excellent condition all around the paneled sides and back, and heavy weight brass hardware is original. Two drawers still have adjustable pushers, smooth gliding drawers fit standard 9x12 letter size file folders.

Overall dimensions are 17 1/2" wide, 28" deep and 41" tall.
