Oak Vintage Secretary Desk High Boy Chest, Secret Drawers

This combination secretary desk and high boy was custom made about 35 years ago by a skilled cabinetmaker, who included two secret compartments.

English style carved legs are graceful on this oak vintage furniture. The original finish is very well preserved with "distressing" to appear antique.

Two false drawers form the drop front - when opened, there is a writing surface with cubicles and tiny drawers for papers. Cast brass pulls are original. Behind the top two drawers are sliding panels that conceal small removable hidden compartments for treasures.

This American made desk is not factory made, it is one of a kind, the work of a skilled craftsman. A true chest on chest, the upper section is separate for easier moving.

The writing surface is 32" high, overall dimensions are 44" wide, 22" deep and 66" tall.
