Pair Curly Tiger Maple 1830 Antique Twin Beds

A pair of curly or "tiger" maple rope beds from about 1830 have been converted to standard twin size as shown.

Said to be from Connecticut, this hand crafted pair has a very fine finish. There are mars at the edges and some shrinkage separations in the 4" diameter posts for character, see photos. Replaced side rails have iron bars to support a modern standard twin size spring and mattress.

Size of this marvelous antique country furniture is 7' long, 44" wide, headboards are 44" tall and footboards are 40" high.
