Made for a neighborhood pub in England about 1890, a pair of rugged Victorian armchairs were hand made of ash and oak.
Strong and comfortable to encourage loitering, this furniture was hand made, with a seat sculpted from a single block of hardwood.
There is lots of antique character - mars and wear - and the finish is excellent with glowing antique patina.
Each chair measures 27" wide, 23" deep, 32" tall and seats are 18" high.
The other pair in photos is priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
