Pair Italian Antique Walnut Marble Top Nightstands, Carved Lion Heads #29894

A pair of Italian nightstands from about 1890 were hand carved of solid wormy walnut with lion head drawer pulls and fine detailing. Original marble tops have been polished and given a low luster finish for protection on this true right and left pair.

The original finish is well preserved with warm antique patina. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are shrinkage separations from age, see photos. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints.

Measurements are 18" wide, 14" deep and 34" tall.
