A contemporary pair of terra cotta three dimensional sculpture from Italy are after designs of famous Renaissance artist, Luca Della Robbia, 1399-1482.
The crackle glaze and hand painted sky blue background are characteristic of this famous artist, whose works are all around Florence and elsewhere Italy as well.
These fragile pottery works of art were normally mortared into walls.
Each measures 17 1/2" wide, 12" tall and 3" deep.
