Pair of Empire 1840's Antique Twin Maple Poster Beds

A pair of 1840's "rope" beds were expertly adapted to fit a standard modern twin mattress and spring unit as shown.

Solid maple, the finish is in extremely fine condition. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain their warm glow is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Wood slats for under the bedding are included with this American made antique pair.

Measurements are 44" wide and 82" long. The headboard is 46" and the footboard is 44" tall. The mattress and box set used for the photos is 15" tall.
