Pair of Swedish Marquetry Vintage Bombe Chests or Nightstands, Marble Tops

An elegant pair of marquetry "bombe" or convex chests from about 50 years ago have marble tops, and could be nightstands. Matched mahogany and satinwood, the masterful inlaid artistry has an excellent renewed finish.

Signed, "Made in Sweden," there are variations in tone and marble color between this palatial pair, see photos. Cast brass mounts and pulls are original. Richly grained marble tops have been polished and sealed to resist stains on this vintage furniture. Dimensions are 36" wide, 16" deep and 29" tall.
