Pair Tang Dynasty Style Chinese Vintage Horse Sculptures, Hand Carved & Painted

A wonderful true right and left pair of horse statues in the Tang Dynasty manner was hand carved and painted in China around 60 years ago.

There are various restorations on these sculptures plus shrinkage separations from age. Reglued for another generation, these works of art have rich detail and show life and movement, which was characteristic of art from the celebrated Tang period about 800 years ago. Soft colors and dark bronze tones are beautiful.

Size is the largest one is 41" long, 43" tall and 12" deep.
