An elegant "fish" set with genuine shimmering mother-of-pearl handled flatware includes twelve forks and twelve knives, made in England around 1900.
Silver plate blades and tines are shaped for the fish course and are in excellent condition with lavish engraving and hallmarks. Two knives have smoothed losses at the tips of the pearl plus one has been recemented as shown.
The velvet lined presentation case has a plaque that was never engraved, there is wear and shrinkage separations from age, see photos. These British antique knives measure 8 3/4" long, forks are 7 1/4" long, and the case is 14" x 10" and 2 1/2" tall.
