Portable Antique late 1800's English Brass Hanging Gold Scale

A portable traveling scale from England was used by gold dealers, who sold and bought gold scrap and jewelry in the late 1800's.

Suspended from a finger, this scale was used with a set of weights to weigh precious metals. Solid brass, the patina from age is beautiful on this well worn antique.

Pans are 3" diameter, overall size is 9" wide and 10" tall.
