Queen Size Antique 1900 Italian 4 Pc. Mahogany Bedroom Set, Marble Tops #29164

A four piece bedroom set was hand crafted in Italy about 1900 of wormy mahogany, and includes a queen size bed, chest with mirror and two nightstands.

The original finish has wonderful warm antique patina preserving various touchups, mars and shrinkage separations from age for a little character, see photos. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the glowing luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Cast brass hardware and mounts are original. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and restored sides as needed to glide smoothly. Marble tops have been polished and given a protective finish.

The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and spring unit demonstrator set as shown. Wood cross supports are included. Bed size is 66" wide, 91" long, the headboard is 60" high and the footboard is 32" tall.

The chest has small jewelry or handkerchief drawers. Size is 51" wide, 25" deep and 94" tall, the marble top is 43" high.

A true right and left pair, nightstands have one marble top with an old restoration and slightly different mounts, see photos. Measurements are 20" wide, 17" deep and 37 1/2" tall.
