Restaurant Bar Hostess Reception Desk, 1925 French Art Deco Marble, Signed Paris
A magnificent marble Art Deco bar or reception stand from about 1925 is signed, "Vignal et Bodmer, Paris."
The gallery has a nickel finish with some of the brass underneath showing through. Multicolored slabs of marble have some stains on top, plus repairs and losses at the base of this stylish antique from France. One drawer has a working original lock, both drawers have hand cut dovetail joints.
Measurements of this memorable furniture from France are 39" wide, 20" deep and 40" tall, the serving top is 38" high.
