River Valley Mill Original Antique 1900 Oil Painting, Signed C H Bendl

A mill along a river is the subject of this original oil painting on canvas from around 1900, signed "C. H. Bendl."

The peaceful landscape scene from northern Europe has soft warm coloration. There is an old restoration on the back of the canvas of this antique work of art, plus a few mars and smears on the canvas, see photos. The dark gold toned carved frame is original. A hanging wire was curiously attached through the front of the frame.

Overall size is 39" wide, 29" tall and 3" deep.
