A traditional Japanese "Shodana" was a treasured cabinet for family heirlooms.
Richly hand-carved of solid rosewood over 100 years ago, this antique furniture is in very fine condition. The original finish is excellent, and this amazing Oriental piece separates for easy moving.
There are repairs and losses to the delicate carved ivory three-dimensional flowers that form handles on the drawers and doors. A carved dragon at the top "protects" the mementos that would be kept in this historic traditional cabinet.
Size is 4'2" wide, 16" deep and 7' tall.
