A traditional "samovar" or solid brass tea kettle was hand crafted in Russia in the 1890's. The center "chimney" was filled with burning coals from the fireplace to boil water for tea, a sign of hospitality and welcome in a Russian home.
The tank holds water, and is crusty from a century's use, and there is a cap for the chimney. Nice antique patina is charming.
Size is 13" across, 12" deep and 18" tall.
