Scandinavian Oak 1930's Vintage Library Bookcase or Bookshelf #29440

A fine grained oak bookcase with locking compartments was expertly crafted in Scandinavia during the 1930's. Shelves are adjustable, one brass socket is missing, so there is a wood block to support a shelf.

The top has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the original finish is very well preserved. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are keys for the locking compartments.

Size is 50" wide, 15" deep and 60 1/2" tall.
