Schoolmaster Tabletop 1860 Antique Walnut Slant Desk or Book Rest

Made for a schoolmaster about 1860, this slant top desk or book rest is solid walnut. The finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique table top furniture.

Square nails are visible. There is a gallery around the top, there is no key for the lock. Inside are small drawers. Measurements are 19" wide, 19" deep and 10 1/2" tall.
