Although unsigned, we recognize this fascinating cabinet as a 1920's "Schwartz Sectional System, Indianapolis, Ind." medicine file cabinet, used in a doctor's office or pharmacy, but useful for many collectors.
Twenty vertical file drawers pull out and swing open, they have various adjustable dividers to accommodate pills and drugs of different sizes. More dividers would be fairly simple to create if desired.
Bronze pulls and label holders are all original on this American made medical furniture. The walnut case is paneled on the sides and has an excellent deep brown finish.
Interior dimensions of the apothecary drawers are 14 1/2" wide, 12 1/2" high and 4" deep. Overall size of this antique cabinet is 25" wide, 18" deep and 65 1/2" tall.
