Set of 4 Double Baroque Architectural Columns

Hand-carved in the Baroque style, a set of four spectacular double rope-twist architectural columns were salvaged from an 1890's era building.

European immigrant artists carved these for a now-demolished but unknown building in Chicago. Delicate medallions and twisting scrollwork are remarkable.

All original, the painting and gold have losses, wear and chips - these antiques have not been restored or cleaned.

The upper capitals measure 22" long and 13" wide, height is 61" and the spiral columns are 4" in diameter.
