Crafted of solid quarter sawn oak just after 1900 during the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period, these six antique dining chairs are newly padded and upholstered.
These chairs have been expertly re-glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
The deep brown finish is excellent, and this is sound and rugged furniture. Curved backs make these chairs comfortable, measurements are 18" wide, 21" deep, 37" tall, seats are 19" high.
