Spanish Brazier or Brazero, Charcoal Footwarmer or Heater

This style of charcoal brazier is still used in Spain as a footwarmer heater set under a dining table.

This solid hand made brass "brasero" is around 100 years old. In 1952, it was polished and fitted with a custom fruitwood octagonal base, and given by an aristocratic Salamanca family as a gift to American friends, see provanance.

The finish on the base is in excellent condition.

Measurements of the brazier are 21" diameter, the base is 35" across and height is 21" overall.
