Swivel Adjustable Vintage Desk Chair, Signed Colonial of Chicago

A swivel and adjustable desk armchair from the 1930's is solid birch hardwood, signed "Colonial Chair Co. of Chicago."

The restored ruddy finish is in excellent condition on this American made vintage office or library furniture. Curved lumbar spindles, the sculpted seat and curved back are comfortable. Reglued to serve another generation, the frame is tight and sturdy. The iron mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. Ball bearing wheels are modern replacements.

Size is 24" wide, 23" deep, 33" tall and the seat is 18" high.
