A classic Georgian design secretary desk with a bookcase from the 1930's is mahogany and birch with a serpentine curved front. This secretary has a traditional claw and ball feet and a graceful pediment top.
Signed "Lammert's of St. Louis," the restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made vintage furniture. The drop front rests on "automatic" supports, inside are secret compartments and cubicles. A key is a handle only, the lock does not work. Upper bookshelves have grooves to display plates and a working lock and key.
Measurements are 33" wide, 19" deep, 6' tall to the top of the finial and the desktop is 29" high.
