Lavishly carved of oak and matched walnut burl, a dressing table or vanity with mirror and bench from about 70 years ago is signed by famous maker, "Romweber of Batesville, Ind." This luxury maker furnished the White House and many celebrity clients.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made vintage furniture. Fine detailing is exquisite, hardware is original. The mirror has a little "smoke" to show its age.
Size is 50" wide, 19" deep, 67" tall and the top is 28" high.
The sturdy bench has soft old velvet upholstery with brass nailhead trim. Size is 26" long, 15" wide and 20" tall.
