A top of the line "Victor Talking Machine" or Victrola from 1912 has a mahogany oak case and gold plated mounts.
The premium four spring wind up motor is in superb working condition, silent and smooth.
The finish is in very fine condition on the gracefully shaped case which was expertly refinished some years ago. "Model VV-XVI" ran from 1906-1921, the serial number gives the year, 1912. An original decal under the lid shows the mascot dog "Nipper" listening to "His Master's Voice."
There are speed and on/off controls, volume control is soft (both doors closed), medium (one door closed) and loud (both doors open). Albums of records are included with this historic record player, the gold key and lock still work.
Size is 26" wide not including the removable winding crank, 25" deep and 49" tall.
