Victorian 1850's Round Walnut Shadow Box Picture Frame, Needlepoint Glass Beads

A Victorian "shadow box" or picture frame to hold three dimensional objects dates from the 1850's. Carved of solid walnut, the old finish has been restored, the gold liner is original on this American made antique. The hand stitched needlepoint with glass beads has a bird and flower motif.

Dimensions are 20" wide and 4" deep.
