Victorian 1860 Antique Fireplace Coal Caddy or Hod, Hand Painted American

A Victorian period fireplace coal caddy or "hod" is tin with original hand painting from around 1860.

Handles and feet are cast iron. The old painted finish has been preserved with clear varnish on this American made hearth antique. There is a removable tin liner.

Size is 13" wide, 12" deep and 24" tall.
