Victorian 1870 Antique Walnut Armoire, Wardrobe or Closet, Mirror Door, Signed

A Victorian Renaissance period armoire, wardrobe or closet from about 1870 was carved of solid walnut with burl panels and was signed "JH Crane, St. Louis."

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars at the edges for a little antique character, see photos. This American made antique furniture disassembles for easier moving. The 17 1/2" deep interior is empty with one removable shelf, so a closet pole or more shelves could be installed as desired. An arched door mirror is later. The lower drawer has hand cut dovetail joints.

Measurements are 45" wide at the crown, 23" deep and 81" tall.
