Victorian 1890's Antique Silverplate Pickle Castor, Hinged Lid, Signed Rogers

Signed "Rogers & Bros, Triple Plate," an elegant pickle "castor" from about 1890 has a silverplate frame with a hinged lid that operates with the filigree handle.

Richly engraved, the silver is in excellent condition on this American made serving piece with tiny paw feet. There are silver soldered restorations on the back uprights, see photos. The blown and deeply cut square glass liner is undamaged.

Measurements are 5" wide, 4" deep and 10" tall.
