A magnificent late Victorian backbar is all oak and has the original plate glass mirrors dated 1908. Built for a corner pub in Oshkosh, WI, the building has since been demolished.
Large tapered quarter sawn columns have Ionic capitals. The deep rich finish is in excellent condition, and this is impeccable furniture for home or commercial settings. For easier delivery and installation, this stately and historic back bar separates into 4 manageable sections.
There is a warm golden "smoke" to the mirror, which is very beautiful. The lower cabinets are empty, ready to be outfitted as desired when installed. Two oak panels cover holes in the canopy where lights were hung, and could be replaced. The hardware on this imposing architectural antique is not original.
Measurements are 16' wide, 9'11" tall, 22" deep and the base is 42" high.
