Carved of solid cherry wood about 1880 during the Victorian period, this fireplace mantel has deep moldings and raised panels. The lustrous finish is excellent, there are small losses at the edges, see photos.
Saved many years ago from a Milwaukee home, this American antique can be used with a masonry fireplace, gas burning unit or as accent furniture to decorate around.
The fire opening is 42" wide and 36" tall. Overall dimensions of this classic architectural salvage is 5' 9" wide, 14" deep and 48" tall.
