Victorian Antique Oak 3 Pc Bedroom Set, Queen Size Bed #30824
From the Victorian period about 1890, this three piece solid oak bedroom set includes a queen size bed, small chest or commode and dresser or chest with mirror, both with marble tops.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture with beautiful carved details.
Expertly adapted to fit a modern queen size mattress, the bed includes wooden cross supports as shown. The demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos is 18" thick together.
Size is 66" wide, 85" long, the headboard is 74" tall and the footboard is 33" high.
Chests have "Tennessee Red" marble tops, polished and given a low luster protective finish. Drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints and original embossed hardware.
The chest or dresser has an original mirror with a curved bevel, and just enough losses and "smoke" for a little character. Size is 43" wide, 21" deep and 78 1/2" tall.
There is a removable towel bar on the small bedside chest or commode, plus another brass swivel bar on the side. Dimensions are 36 1/2" wide, 17 1/2" deep and 52 1/2" tall.
