Victorian Antique Walnut Chest or Commode, Marble Top, Armstrong of Evansville

A charming small chest or commode from the Victorian period was hand carved of solid walnut with burl panels about 1870. On the back are stencils and a label from "Armstrong of Evansville, IN."

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints. The shaped marble top has repairs and has been polished and sealed with finish for protection.

Dimensions are 30" wide, 17" deep, and 29" high.
