From the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1890, a solid walnut swivel desk chair is newly upholstered in saddle leather.
The carved frame is tight and strong, reglued to serve another generation. Turning the chair raises and lowers the seat with an original cast iron mechanism.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture. Ball bearing wheels are replacements.
Size is 24" wide, 25" deep, 38" tall and the seat is 20" high and 19" deep, all adjustable upward as desired.
