Victorian Eastlake Antique Marble Top Small Chest or Commode, Mirror

A late Victorian or Eastlake period small chest or commode was carved of solid walnut with burl panels about 1880. The original swivel beveled mirror has a few losses and "smoke" to show its age.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Figured marble has been polished and given a protective finish. Drawers have dovetailed joints.

Measurements are 31 1/2" wide, 17" deep and 77" tall, the marble top is 30 1/2" high, including the removable wheels.
