Victorian Eastlake Queen Size Antique 1880 Carved Walnut & Burl Bed

From the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880, this grand queen size bed was hand carved of solid walnut with matched burl panels.

The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Original rails have been extended, together with additions to the head and footboards, to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and spring unit. The demonstrator set in photos is 18" thick together. Wood support cross pieces are included.

Measurements are 69" wide, 87" long, the headboard is 7' tall and the footboard is 35" high.
