Victorian Renaissance Antique Walnut 2 Pc. Bedroom Set, Queen Size Bed

A spectacular Victorian Renaissance period bedroom set from about 1875 includes a queen size bed and marble top chest with mirror.

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on solid walnut with burl panels. Hand carved crests are imposing on this American made antique furniture.

The chest or dresser has original shaped marble tops with some stains as shown. Marble slabs have been polished and sealed for protection. There are candle stands flanking the mirror. Drawers have brass and ebonized drop pulls plus the round "pin and cove" dovetail joints of the era.

Measurements are 49" wide, 20" deep and 97" tall.

Expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress as shown, the stately bed has carved side rails. The demonstrator mattress and spring set shown measures 18" thick together, wood supports underneath are included.

Size is 73" wide, 89" long, the headboard is 8' 3" tall and the footboard is 36" high.
