Victorian Silverplate Table Plateau Mirror

An elegant Victorian table setting required a "plateau" like this to reflect the gaslight around a centerpiece.

This 1890 era plate mirror is beveled and has a cut pattern around the rim. The filigree base has a coppery bronze finish, see photos.

There are scratches in the glass and "smoke" in the silvering of this American antique. Size is 14" diameter and 3" tall.
