Victorian Washstand or Server, Marble & Tile

Made for a bowl and pitcher in the days before plumbing, this charming Victorian wash stand could have a new life as a server, bar or vessel sink vanity.

Carved of solid fruitwood, there are blue and white tiles mounted in the backsplash. The marble top has a few chips, scratches and stains, see photos. Embossed brasses are original, the drawer has tiny hand-cut dovetails.

The satin finish is excellent in a medium brown on this picturesque English antique furniture.

Dimensions of the marble top are 36" wide and 18" deep, including the towel bars width is 41" total, height is 51" overall, the marble top is 29 1/2" high including the removable casters.
