A windmill on the seashore in Holland is the subject of this 1920's original oil painting on canvas, signed but difficult to read.
A quintessential Dutch subject is painted with loose brushwork and the vivid colors of a sunny day. There is crackling to the paint on this antique work of art, see photos. The original carved and silver gilt frame has various touchups as shown. Overall dimensions are 46" wide, 38" tall and 2" deep.
