We can find no signature plate on this 1885 era rotary desk, but it is certainly made by the famed "Wooten Desk Co. of Indiana."
Patented furniture, two remarkable "rotary" pedestals swing open to reveal large banks of cubbyholes or cubicles for papers.
This deeply paneled desk is quarter sawn oak, with an old finish in very good condition with some wear and mars at the edges for antique character. The top is gold tooled leather, and the desk is composed of three stacking sections for easier moving.
Measurements of this amazing furniture are 5' long, 33" deep, 31" tall and the kneehole is 24 1/2" high, with both rotary sections opened, length is 88" overall.
