Country Pine Strongbox Chest or Trunk

This hand made 1850's country pine strongbox has three locks but only one key. It was meant to be opened only when all three keys were present, the other two locks could be individually keyed by a locksmith if desired.

The old wormy pine has hand cut dovetail corners and a very fine finish. Wrought iron hinges are attached with hand made nails on this American antique. On the lid is a copper medallion with a sailing ship.

Size is 20" wide, 13" deep and 12" tall.
