Made as a printer's file by "Hamilton" of Two Rivers, WI about 1895, this oak cabinet would work for many collectors of jewelry, prints or maps. There is an engraved brass plaque with the Chicago dealer who sold this rugged piece, see photo.
Twelve drawers with original signed iron bin pulls are just over 1" deep, they have old paint and various dividers inside. The finish on ash and oak is excellent with just enough wear and mars for antique patina.
Sides are deeply paneled and measurements of this American made furniture are 38" wide, 21" deep and 35 1/2" tall.
