Carved Chinese Trunk, Chest or Coffee Table, Seafaring Scenes

Hand carved in China about 20 years ago, there are seafaring scenes in high relief on this trunk or chest that could be a coffee or cocktail table.

Solid camphor wood was used because it discourages insect pests, like our cedar chests. The glossy finish in two shades is in excellent condition, a traditional Asian brass padlock has a key.

Size of this vibrant furniture is 40" long, 21" deep and 23" tall.
