French Vintage Writing Desk, Gold Mounts & Tooled Leather

A sophisticated writing desk from France is about 50 years old and has gold plated mounts and a gold tooled leather top.

Banded mahogany with satinwood, the finish is in excellent condition. For character, there are small imperfections around the sides plus ring shaped dents and a little wear on the border of the inlaid leather top, see photos.

Graceful curves recall the elegance of Louis XIV design on this vintage European furniture.

Size is 51" long, 25" deep, 30" tall and legroom is 24" underneath.
