Our son has practiced enough to graduate from this student cello, made in Germany about 35 years ago. His first full size cello, it has served him well and is in very good condition, ready for the next player.
The bridge, tailpiece plus fitted and geared tuning pegs are recent, strings are new. Inside is a paper label in Latin, "Copy of Antonio Stradivarius of Cremona, 1721, Made in Germany."
There are dings and wear to the wood that do not affect performance, see photos. This is a very strong and durable student quality cello with warm tone - ready to play. The top is laminated spruce for strength and durability. A serviceable carbon fiber bow is included as well as a padded bag style case. Length is 48" excluding the adjustable end pin.
