Steinway 5' 8" Walnut 1960 Carved Art Case Grand Piano & Bench

Signed by America's finest piano maker, "Steinway & Sons of New York City," this magnificent carved Chippendale or Georgian design "Art Case" piano and bench date from about 1960.

Entirely original except that the iron frame has been regilded, therefore the serial number giving the exact date has been lost.

The finish is well preserved with some wear, mars and significant sun fading, see photos. A matching bench has been newly upholstered. Natural keys are original (they are a little more yellow than in the photos,)and strings have some corrosion.

The soundboard is intact, and the famous Steinway action is smooth and easy.

Measurements of this classic piano are 57" wide, 39" tall when closed and 5' 7" long.
