White Cedar 3 Gallon Wood 1900 Antique Butter Churn

Signed "White Cedar Cylinder Churn, No. 3, Made in USA, 3 Gal." this cedar butter churn dates from around 1900.

The paddles inside are original, the iron crank handle still works. This country antique appears to be ready to use, but we didn't have 3 gallons of heavy cream to test it. Furthermore, it needs to be soaked so the wood swells and it doesn't leak. The original stenciling is worn, there are iron bindings, and the handle is detachable.

Size of this "Made in USA" rustic churn is 17" x 20" and 20" tall.
