Set of 12 Italian Architectural Drawings, Engraved in France Early 1800's

Recent wood frames and mats were expertly mounted on this set of twelve architectural drawings of famous Italian sites, engraved folio prints from the early 1800's or before. Every one shows the marks from hand engraved metal printing plates.

Subtle details are wonderful on this historic set, which can be configured as desired. Depicted are the ceilings from the Ducal Palace in Venice, the Church of St. Zenon in Verona, the Villa Madame in Rome, the Campo Santo in Pisa, etc. We have not opened the sealed frames to examine the prints, they are signed by various publishers and engravers, see photos.
